Students should bring this handbook to every lesson. Present the handbook to the Secretary at the reception before class.
It is the responsibility of students/parents to read all official notices on the Notice Board.
Unless otherwise notified, all scheduled lessons will be held as usual on all public holidays and school holidays.
No shouting and running around within the Castle premises.
Students should do their utmost to keep all parts of the Castle clean and tidy. Food, beverages and smoking are strictly prohibited within the Castle premises.
One monthˇ¦s notice in writing is required before withdrawal from a course of the Castle.
Arts Castle reserves the right to cancel any course whether it has started or not.
Arts Castle reserves the right to alter course content, course instructor, date and/or time, class sizes and age groups.
For private lessons, only 1 absence (Lesson cancellation) is permitted in every 4 successive lessons. Any subsequent cancellation within the original 4-lesson period will incur the regular tuition fee.
Students should give at least 24 hoursˇ¦ notice for any lesson cancellation. Any lesson missed without advanced notice will be charged as a regular lesson. For students who cannot attend due to illness, a make-up lesson will be arranged if students inform the Castle in writing accompanied by relevant medical certification.
For the consideration of all, please do not bring a sick child to class.
Once admitted to a course, students may not change to another course without prior approval.
In order to maintain our education quality, students of Arts Castleˇ¦s instrumental courses are not recommended to enroll any outside Music Theory courses or Exam Accompaniment courses.
All course notes, course materials and information supplied to students by the Castle are for private study purposes only. The copyright of all these materials belongs to the Castle and all rights are reserved.
Arts Castle is not liable for any injury or damage or loss sustained by students on the Castle premises.
Arts Castle reserves the right to exclude from class any student whose behaviour disturbs the rest of the class, or who does not comply with Castle regulations. If a student has caused damage to Castle property, a fine will be levied based on the market value of the damaged item.
Any theft will be reported to the police immediately.
Arts Castle reserves the right to make amendments to the above regulations when necessary.

Tuition fees are charged by term basis, payable 7 working days before each term starts. We accept cash and cheques.
For all cheque payments, please make payable to ˇ§Arts Castle Ltd.ˇ¨. Post-dated cheques are not accepted. Please write the student's name and the scheduled class on the back of the cheque.
Whether the student has attended the class or not, no refunds will be made except in the following circumstances:

a.
The course is cancelled, in which case the course fees will be refunded to the participants in full. All refunds will be issued within a month by mail to the address given during enrollment.
b. The participant cannot attend the course due to injury or illness. In this case, the participant needs to inform the Castle in writing accompanied by relevant medical certification within 2 weeks.
Successful applicants for refund will need to fill in The Course Refund Form issued by the Castle.

All students who are newly enrolled or re-enrolled are required to pay an application fee of HK$200 as a deposit. This will be refunded after a month from withdrawal by cheque to student(s)/parent(s) who have given a one-month notice beforehand.
Tuition fees are not transferable from one student to another.
All group classes missed cannot be made up at a later date. No refund will be arranged.
Arts Castle reserves the right to make alternation to all fees.

Students/parents entering the classrooms should have the shoes taken off.
Do not open or close the windows without permission.
Beeping devices on mobile phones and pagers should be switched off during classes.
Audio taping, video taping and photograph taking are not permitted during classes, except with the prior permission of the Castle.

For classes that have already started
When Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above is hoisted, or the Rainstorm Red or Black Warning is in force, classes that have already started will be suspended automatically.
For classes that have not yet started
If Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above is lowered or the Rainstorm Red or Black Warning is withdrawn

No Make-up class or refund will be arranged for all group classes cancelled due to bad weather.
